T-103 with the forward skegs on! (Monday night 8/27/07)
Just need to finish shaping the stern skeg, and sand the whole thing for a couple hours :)
The Japanese LST. The T-103 Fast Transport was a fast (20kts) means of moving tanks and other vehicles around. Tanks could be carried internally, and the entryway had a hinged ramp that allowed tanks to drive up onto the top deck. The ship is about 22" long and in MWC it is a weight class 2 convoy ship. The plug pictured here is under construction with mold-making to commence in a few days. Updates will be posted here.

Rated Speed: 20kts on 1 screw. The ship had one rudder.

This hull will be available in 1/144 scale in September 2007, and will cost around $30 dollars. AA guns & tubs will be available, as well as superstructure, and other scale details!
