These Japanese heavy cruisers saw heavy service in the Pacific War. Somewhat shorter and wider than the Takao class, the Mogamis are also less well-armed, although they enjoy twin tandem rudders which improves maneuverability.

This hull is the bulged version, and will be available in 1/96 scale in late fall 2007, and cost has yet to be determined. Main turrets will be available, as well as other scale details!
