LST
The Landing Ship Tank was involved in nearly every theater of the war, in every amphibious operation of any size, and many continued to serve long after the end of World War II. Some were converted to repair ships, or squadron tenders, or even barracks ships. A few were converted to rocket artillery platforms and saw service as late as Vietnam. In RC naval combat, LSTs are tough, highly maneuverable convoy ships for the allies.

This hull will be available in 1/144 scale in September 2007, and will cost around $40 dollars. AA guns & tubs will be available, as well as the conning tower, LCVPs, and other scale details!
