*HMS Amphion/HMAS Perth, HMS Achilles/HMAS Hobart, HMAS Sydney
This class of light cruisers was designed to be effective commerce protection ships, and received better armor than most contemporary light cruisers. HMS Ajax was the flagship of Force G during the hunt for the Graf Spee, taking part in that ships' last battle. The Leander and Achilles were seconded to the Royal New Zealand Navy in September of 1941. *Three additional ships of the "Amphion group" were built to a very similar design in the late thirties(they gained 4 4" guns) and transferred to the Royal Australian Navy.

This hull will be available in 1/144 scale in late fall 2007, and will cost around $120 dollars. Main turrets will be available, as well as superstructure and other scale details!
